- First aid volunteers training:
Health Center, National Central University actively cultivate first aid volunteers to continuously engage in services both on and off campus, demonstrating the expansiveness and sustainability of our first aid education initiatives. Centered on "promoting universal first aid skills," NCU has constructed a comprehensive campus safety education chain encompassing digital learning, technical assessments, and disaster prevention drills. The specific strategies and outcomes are as follows:
1.Comprehensive Popularization of First Aid Skills:We established a CPR+AED training protocol for incoming students and organized first aid education, primary first aid responder training, and sports injury prevention courses for faculty and staff. This comprehensively enhances emergency response capabilities across the campus.
2.Rigorous Training and Outstanding Outcomes:Annually, we conducted 25 technical assessment sessions for incoming students, 5 training sessions for faculty and staff, and over 40 sessions of first aid education and injury prevention training. Through rigorous practical drills and assessments, the pass rate for students' first aid skills reached an impressive 92%.
3.Volunteer Cultivation and Sustainable Development:We actively cultivate first aid volunteers to continuously engage in services both on and off campus, demonstrating the expansiveness and sustainability of our first aid education initiatives. By encouraging widespread participation, we foster a protective and healthy campus environment.
- Film Festival on multiple topics:
By integrating resources from within and beyond the university, Center for Humanities and Arts of National Central University has promoted a diverse range of themed film festivals. In 2025, a total of 47 screenings were held, including the TIDF International Documentary Festival, Peace Film Festival, Taiwan International Human Rights Film Festival, and Taiwan International Women’s Film Festival. Through these films, audiences gained a broader understanding of different regions and communities while developing empathy and respect for diversity.
