支援經濟弱勢學生

National Central University offers various scholarships, subsidies and programs for economically disadvantaged students.

Student Services Division, Office of Student Affairs are in charge of offering or introducing proper source to help students who face problems or difficulties in their daily lives, including tuition reduction and exemption, student loans, scholarships and priorities of being employed as part-time assistants, etc.

• The Sunflower Admission Program: 

The Sunflower Admission Program gives priority to students from economically or culturally disadvantaged backgrounds. By reviewing applications and personal interview, the program aims to lower the barrier of admission for aforementioned students. In 2025, NCU admitted 35 students via Sunflower Admission Program. Students admitted via Sunflower Admission Program can apply for 20,000-60,000 TWD scholarship each semester.

• Care Support Program:

By replacing working part-time with academic performance, “Care Support Program” enable economically disadvantaged students to balance their academic studies and living needs. Through the guidance of learning-centered program, these students no longer have to sacrifice their academic performance due to part-time job.

• Low or lower-middle income countries student support:

NCU offered scholarships to full-time foreign students from low- or lower-middle income countries (as defined by the World Bank) who submit applications and approved by their department or Institute. The scholarships were granted based on annual budget, up to 9,000 TWD/month per Bachelor student, 15,000 TWD/month (or waivers of tuition and credit fees) per Master student, and 40,000 TWD/month (or waivers of tuition and credit fees) per PhD student.
