水資源回收再利用

To reduce the consumption of tap water, older buildings (built before year 2000) use underground water for toilet and plant watering, while buildings relatively new (built after year 2000) are equipped with rainwater recycling system to collect rainwater for abovementioned uses. 

The Humanities and Social Sciences Building, Engineering Building Ⅳ, and the Multiple-Purpose Building collected rainwater for toilet flushing, while Sciences Building Ⅴ collected effluent from water purifiers for toilet flushing, to minimize the demand of underground water.
