NCU Ranks 3rd Nationwide in 2026 Excellence in University Social Responsibility

The 2026 Excellence in University Social Responsibility results by CommonWealth Magazine have been announced, with National Central University delivering an outstanding performance in the "General Large University Group" across Taiwan, steadily rising from fifth place last year to 3rd place nationwide. Long grounded in empirical science and combined with deep social engagement, National Central University received high recognition across all 4 major dimensions: university governance, commitment to teaching, social engagement, and environmental sustainability. Among the various evaluation indicators, National Central University performed remarkably in both environmental sustainability and mutual evaluation of sustainability performance. Notably, it achieved a high score of 4.1 in the environmental sustainability dimension, reflecting the university's concrete achievements in carbon reduction goal setting, green office promotion, energy-saving measures, and environmental management.
