NCU Partners with Community for Marine Sustainability Program

The Center of Service Learning, National Central University promoted the "Sailing Towards Sustainability: Ocean Romance—Youth and Neighborhood Gathering Educational Program," collaborating with "Hi-Yo Walker" (a local sustainability organization guided by the Institute of Education, National Taiwan Ocean University) to conduct the "Ocean Ecology Field Experience" course. 

The program aims to deepen students' understanding of marine culture, ecological conservation, and environmental sustainability through cross-unit collaboration and a "learning-by-doing" model. Centered on "youth and neighborhood gathering," the course connects students, faculty, staff, and neighboring communities to fulfill University Social Responsibility and achieve the sustainable goals of marine and habitat conservation.
