Taiwan Polar Institute, NCU Launch Exhibition Spotlighting Firsthand Polar Science

The annual special exhibition "Polar Exploration," co-curated by Taiwan Polar Institute, NCU and the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology(NMMST), grandly opened at NMMST, Keelung on June 5, 2026. Centered on polar science and human exploration, this special exhibition spans academic knowledge sharing, content demonstration, international data integration, and popular science translation, fully presenting to the public the firsthand images and observation results that researchers saw with their own eyes and recorded with their own hands on the Arctic ice sheets.

National Central University stated that this collaboration with NMMST marks the 1st time Taiwan Polar Institute s research achievements have entered the public eye on a large scale, and it is a concrete demonstration of NCU's scientific research strength and social responsibility. Through the exhibition, NCU hopes more people will be aware of that Taiwan's scientists are already standing at the forefront of the world. In the future, NCU also looks forward to more Taiwan cultural and educational platforms joining in to jointly promote sustainability issues, making this care for the Earth one of the most important consensuses in Taiwan society.
