The Hydrogen Energy Research Center (HERC), NCU has launched and signed a MOU with Forschungszentrum Jülich

The Hydrogen Energy Research Center (HERC) at National Central University (NCU) has officially launched and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Germany's Forschungszentrum Jülich. This strategic partnership establishes a global platform to advance hydrogen technologies, including water electrolysis, fuel cell materials, and smart grid integration, aligning directly with Taiwan's 2050 net-zero goals and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

By integrating academic research with international collaboration and industrial applications, HERC serves as an innovation hub driving decarbonization solutions. Through joint research, policy design, and talent cultivation, NCU establishes best practices for sustainable energy transition, positioning Taiwan as a key contributor to the global clean energy ecosystem.
